"Depression" Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
  • 180g gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • ⅓ cup grapeseed or coconut oil
  • 1 cup warm water
Optional
  • dash of red pepper and nutmeg
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Combine all the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix all the wet ingredients together, and add the wet ingredients to the dry.
  4. pour batter into an 8" circular greased pan.
  5. Bake for 35 minutes.
